Ending Poverty
Due to the urbanization of Delhi, the former farming village of Bandhwari does not have many job opportunities. The Bandhwari Women's Project provides jobs to women who otherwise do not have work.

Gender Equality
First and foremost, we are an organization to promote the women of Bandhwari. We only hire women to sew our products, which helps combat the patriarchal culture in this village.

Decent Work and Economic Growth
Regardless of whether we make sales, the women are paid for their labor and for the cost of their materials. They are then given a further 50% of the profit we do make with every sale.

Responsible Consumption and Production
Since we utilize recycled saris to create our products as well as ethical labor, we are working towards the responsible production goal.
